Days of Restoration

Today I am going to share with you the Creation Account and what I have learned from studying this topic years ago with an open mind and with help from the Holy Spirit. I know there are many sides to this topic and it can be controversial as well as having many scientific minds that have shared their view on this topic. The Creation Account can be found in Genesis 1:3-31, I stop at verse 31 since we know of our own history, but the history of the beginning of the planet we live on is another totally separate topic and that is what I want to share with you.

Scientists for the most part believe that the Earth is billions of years old and then you have Christians that some think it’s only several thousand years old. There are also those that believe that each creation day was longer then a literal day and then you have the side that says they were literally one day each. I will be covering those ideas as well as another that you may not have thought of or known of. There is much that is hidden within the Word of God that He hides and only shows when we truly take the time to search and study His Living Word. Even Jesus when he spoke it was in parables so that not just anyone could understand what he was saying, but only those that were truly seeking for the truth. We must rely on God’s Spirit to reveal to us His hidden secrets and make them clear to us (Isaiah 55:8-9). From our own studying and praying to God for understanding of this topic I thus share it with you. If you accept it or do not accept what I say is fine with me for we all have to prove the scriptures as Paul mentions in 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

Now let us look into the days of “restoration” as I like to call them. Through the six days, only a few things were made or created while everything else was restored. The word “let’ that we find in these scriptures is a word used to show permission and not creation. It shows that those things that are permitted to appear are and were at one time here already. So with this basic understanding, let’s look at the days and see what truly took place upon this planet that most people are blind to.

Day 1 (Genesis 1:3-5) First of all we find that Darkness was already here on the Earth. What and where did this darkness come from since we know there is no darkness in heaven and we know darkness is referenced to wickedness or being cut off from God (2 Corinthians 6:14; John 3:19). This Darkness that is spoken of here is Lucifer (Satan) and he was here already. The Light that The Almighty permitted to show up is Jesus (John 3:19-20; 8:12).

Day 2 (Genesis 1:6-8) Here The Almighty separates the waters to allow the firmament to once again to appear. The remaking of the firmament shows that there was a flood that happened before mankind was made.

Day 3 (Genesis 1:9-13) The Almighty restores the dry land once more and He gathers the waters together for the dry land to appear. Next The Almighty allows the plants to grow again and to bear seed. As we continue to see is The Almighty is restoring the Earth back to some similarity of what it was before what happened between Genesis 1:1-2. Another reason why many plants that we find in the fossil records are so similar to those that are alive even today.

Day 4 (Genesis 1:14-19) In the first two verses what are these lights? Fore it is not until later on in this day when the stars are made. These lights are the angels in heaven gathering around to bear witness of the coming events. They, both stars and angels are used for signs, seasons and years. Then next The Almighty begins to create visible things to represent the invisible things. The sun represents Jesus while the moon represents Satan and the stars represent the angels.

Day 5 (Genesis 1:20-23) In this day The Almighty allows the waters to bring forth again creatures that hath life as well as creating new ones to crawl upon the dry land and to fly in the heavens to replace all those that have been lost when the first earth was destroyed by a flood.

Day 6 (Genesis 1:24-31) Here in the final day of restoration The Almighty is allowing animals that have once lived here to come back into existence as well as creating new ones. Here we come into the picture and we were created in their image and were given dominion over the Earth and to subdue it, but first they were told to replenish it since there was life upon the face of the Earth before man was ever thought of.

The insight that we have found on this topic also has helped those that believe in the Earth being very old to accept the Biblical account of creation as well as reconciling the fossil record with what the Bible shows us. As I have said there are many thing hidden within God’s Word that are there only to those truly seeking answers and the truth. Oh and when it comes to the length of time per day in the Genesis account there would be no need to mention evening and morning if it was truly longer than a day. I know God hides things in plain sight within the scriptures, but to just straight out and try to confuse people is not what God aims to do (1 Corinthians 14:33), we do enough of that on our own.

Do not give up searching in God’s Word for the hidden things that you never know may help others come to the LORD where other things will not turn them to go to Him.
